About Gary Lawrence

With over 40 years experience in Construction and Project Management in commercial, residential, retail and education sectors on both consultancy and client side, I have taken projects through all stages from inception to completion and post-completion. Having worked in both Client and Consultancy capacity, it has allowed me to have a greater understanding in how to ensure that projects are set up to succeed. I bring a collaborative, professional, and passionate focus to projects to ensure a successful outcome is achieved. As a Chartered Building Surveyor by background, it enables me to apply this sound technical knowledge to all projects I have been involved with over the last 40 years, focusing on project delivery, where the more challenging a project, the more it plays to my strengths. The two things in construction I have leant is that you never stop learning and construction is a people industry, get people working together and you will get a successful project outcome!Recent projects as lead Employer's Agent Role include:Leading the project team through a major regeneration project in Croydon managing the project through planning and procurement stages at present. The first regeneration project in the area for a number of years. Hammersmith & Fulham Town Hall Redevelopment - Major redevelopment of the existing Grade II Town Hall building which includes a two storey extension built within the atrium courtyard and construction of 4 new build blocks comprising residential with retail at ground and an office block with cinema in the basementKeybridge House Phase 1, Vauxhall - mixed use scheme comprising 465 mixed tenures with retail at ground and commercial space in the basementsKeybridge House Phase 2, Vauxhall - 125 mixed tenure scheme with anew school at ground and basement levelsQueen's Wharf Riverside Studios - mixed use scheme comprising retail units, cinema and 165 high end private residential units constructed alongside Hammersmith Bridge
