About Gary Lightwood

Gary Lightwood is the Managing Partner of national Firm Pattinson & Brewer’s Bristol office. He specialises in Claimant only personal injury, clinical negligence and family law. He is also the current President of the Bristol Law Society. In his personal injury practice, Gary has a solid grounding in accident, disease and clinical negligence work, having worked closely with and represented Police Federation members, Trade Union members and private clients for over 23 years. He believes strongly in the work that he does, representing only claimants and in the right of accident victims to have legal representation whether their injury is minor or major. Gary also runs a busy family law practice, specialising in divorce and financial disputes. When not at work or engaged in Bristol Law Society duties, Gary enjoys hobbies including wakeboarding, technical diving, boating, and running and is the lead guitarist and singer in a rock n roll band. He holds the IAM Roadsmart Masters Certificate in advanced motorcycling and is often out in the countryside on his Harley Davidson V-Rod! He is also married with two daughters and two cats!
