Lead Advance Sourcing efforts in support of Sonos Advance Technology team. • Responsible for Identification, qualification, and management of best-in-class supplier partnerships through benchmarking and strategic sourcing methods for complex connectivity • Develop and direct strategic sourcing relationships and execute sourcing strategies that achieve a competitive advantage for Sonos, such as first mover rights that gives us a head start on competition. • Identified tools and developed processes to allow research and evaluation of electronics components and sub-systems, that provide Sonos with evidence-based position to support both our business needs while building strong alignments with the various Engineering teams we work with. • Using a 3rd party tool, I developed a process to analyze electronic components and sub-systems to create "should cost" models. This enabled us to provide more confident and accurate COGS (Cost of Good Sold) calculations early in the development cycle • Using my prior experience in PLM systems development, I was the sourcing lead in the development and implementation of a control tower process, bringing visibility and consistency of our data as well as our CM’s data to all stakeholders. The new process includes error reporting to ensure data integrity as well as customized reporting using MicroStrategy for each function to tailor to their specific needs.
