About Gary Ramirez

Design, production and management in web, social media, digital printing and large format printing. I'm also comfortable working in both Mac and PC environments. I have have over 20 years of Graphic Design and Prepress Print Production experience in preparing files for print, troubleshooting files, preflighting files, following print specs, bleeds, trapping, knockouts, overprints, color separation, resolution, spot colors, varnish, foil, die cuts, deboss/embossing, package design, turning around requests in a timely manner, uploading and downloading files and folder/directory structure organization. I make sure all files have correct fonts, dimensions, imposition layouts, color and resolution before handing of files. Having worked in many different print shops and utilized many print vendors. My Graphic Design experience includes over 20 years experience using page layout software (QuarkXPress and InDesign), vector software (Adobe Illustrator) and raster software (Adobe Photoshop). I've also have experience working with HTML/CSS web development, WCAG web accessibility, SEO, UX/UI design, competitive analysis, user research, PDF remediation, interactive prototypes, wireframes, moodboards, site maps, card sorting, focus groups, CMS, DAM (Digital Asset Management), social media marketing and user testing. I have excellent communication skills with my team, as well as clients and service techs. I'm comfortable wearing many hats and I'm open to help out anyone in any department where there is a need that I can assist with wether it involves physical labor or technical assistance.
