I am the Director of Operations of Mid-South in Richmond, British Columbia. First and foremost, I am a dedicated father of three wonderful children, which has shaped my perspective on the importance of supporting positive and optimistic growth in the Forest Products community. I am an accomplished Professional Engineer with a diverse background in business, engineering, and projects, particularly within the Forest Products Industry. I have a commitment to Excellence and my goal is to help everyone around me prosper. My role as Director of Operations at Mid-South Engineering (Canada) Ltd. has been instrumental in shaping my business skills and achievements. In this capacity, I have successfully grown the company and will continue improvements. I have spearheaded project development and planning of major capital projects for our clients. I am proud to be involved in projects that yield increases in revenues and production for our clients. I had established myself as an Engineering Consultant with extensive expertise in the Forest Industry. My specialization lies in Wood Processing Facilities, and I am considered a Subject Matter Expert in this domain. I have undertaken pivotal roles in site development and plant design for a wide range of facilities, including Sawmills, Planermills, Chip Plants, Wood Rooms, Veneer Plants, Plywood Plants, Biomass & Pellet Plants, and the front end of Pulp & Paper plants. My professional journey started in the Forest Products Industry with the Stolberg Group of Companies, a renowned name in the history of Sawmill industry. Before my time, Stolberg was a Construction and Engineering (Design-Build) company that employed hundreds of people. Later, Stolberg Engineering had dropped the constriction, however, during my time there, I had the privilege of being mentored by seasoned construction and project management experts. This invaluable experience has endowed me with a profound understanding of industry-leading practices and has cultivated a robust skill set that I apply to every project and organization I am involved with. In summary, my career has been marked by a commitment to excellence, a specialized focus on the Forest Products Industry, and a dedication to continual learning and growth. I look forward to leveraging my skills and expertise to contribute to future projects and challenges in this dynamic field.
