Hello my friends,I just wanted to let you know that I am currently working on my first solo album/CD that has all original music written by me, and arranged by Cuban pianist and friend Cesar Orozco, and myself. It is going to be a Salsa-Latin Jazz Project. Half Salsa with vocals and half Latin Jazz. I will keep you posted. The tunes are coming out great. Stay Blessed, Gary Sosias-)Well my friends here is an update. the CD is still in the process, but sounding better and better. I have a few guest vocalists that I'd like to recognize. First and foremost, incredible salsa singer Frankie Vasquez. He's on two cuts. Rafael Ortiz Sr, from Puerto Rico and Rafael Ortiz Jr, as well as Alfredo Mojica. All are super talented! Also, my brothers Danny and Lucas Sosias will be singing a ballad in English written for our deceased sister, Dee. UPDATE: My two sons, Paul and Alejandro, and some other great friends are singing some coros or background vocals for my project. Getting closer my friends. I’ll keep you posted. More news, I have moved to Cleveland, Ohio and I am working part time for Starting Point as a Technical Assistant. And gigging when ever possible. Still looking for full time work.
