About Gary Stephens

High performing Biomedical Engineering graduate. I am a very hard working determined individual and keen to learn. Experience with developing test procedures, carrying out gage R&R's for verification and validation of designs for medical devices. I have good communication skills and work well in teams. I am currently in Vancouver working as a Production Technician for Lucent Biosciences. I spent from January - September of 2018 working at Phenox Ltd as part of my (Professional Experience Programme) PEP through my college course. From September 2018 - April 2019 I worked with Phenox Ltd for my Final Year Project. During my time on placement, received invaluable experience working with medical devices, creating test methods, test method validations and verification's in accordance with the methods outlined in the standard IS EN ISO Intravascular catheters – Sterile and Single use catheters – Part 1: General Requirements. Working in this environment developed my problem solving skills, reporting skills and data analysis skills. Having worked part-time in several jobs, both at home and abroad, I have picked up many skills, such as good team work, communication, punctuality and a work hard ethic. These skills have stood to me when it comes to juggling part-time work with, full time college and being part of a sports team.
