About Gary Tustin

I am originally an organic chemist who has branched out into the areas of polymer and material science. I spent many years working in research in the oil and gas sector and currently work in developing new products and businesses for a polymer and materials company. I am co-author on many academic papers in peer reviewed journals, one of the most recent was published in Angewandte Chemie in 2015. This was as a result of my interactions with several groups during my secondment at the Chemistry Department within the University of Cambridge. I also am co-author on over seventy US patent applications or grants. These pertain to the work I have done in R&D in the oil and gas sector over the past 16 years. I have worked in the areas of material science, polymer chemistry, organic chemistry and surface modification, to name a few.
