I’m a seasoned General Manager. I am a leader by example and a firm believer that not only effective communication, but the ability to instil a vision and pass on knowledge to up-and-coming managers is key to business success. I’ve worked internationally for the past 20+ years and oversaw the successful reintroduction of new Qantas airline services between Australia and RSA during the apartheid period as well as the introduction of new Qantas services into Taiwan. I’ve also managed different business and leisure 5-star hotel properties within mainland China, and Vietnam and assisted during their growth period and expanded tourism. My ability to manage effectively is a result of my strong problem resolution skills, my ability to make well-thought-out decisions quickly and take ownership of my work to ensure the company’s success. I enjoy coaching, training and mentoring others and seeing direct reports grow through personalised mentoring programs.
