About Gary Wiseman

masterIT's president and chief technical officer since 2006. Prior to forming masterIT, I was the founder, president and CEO of Wisetech, Inc. A resident of Memphis, TN since 1969, I have been in the technology industry for over 30 years. Formerly a Manager of Information Systems for Physiotherapy Associates headquartered in Memphis, within 5 years my expertise and leadership helped grow the company from 27 facilities to over 200 national and international locations. In 1997, I started Wisetech, Inc. Wisetech focused on helping small to medium size companies understand, utilize and implement technology. My belief is that the technology should be used as a tool to drive more business and to focus on the task at hand instead of the problems associated with technology. In other words, clients should focus on their core competencies rather than the technology that ultimately supports the business. My credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Christian Brothers College, a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), SonicWall CSSA, Evault Certified Engineer, Watchguard Firewall certification (WCSP) and ITIL Certified. I currently serve on the board of YMCA Cordova and Truth Seekers Fellowship Ministry. I have been involved in the Boy Scouts of America as a registered leader and served as Den Leader, Cub Master and Assistant Scout Master for 10 years. I was part of the original team that started the Small Business Chamber in Memphis and served as Vice Chair of Internal Operations from 2004-2005. Expertise in finding creative solutions to all types of challenges in businesses with an emphasis on cutting costs through leveraging technology, focusing on best practices and standardization.
