About Gaurav Bagwe

Healthcare Software Architect proficient in a wide variety of software technologies and clinical applications. I enjoy designing software in an Agile, FDA regulated environment using principles like DRY, KISS, YAGNI, high cohesion and low coupling. I am currently working on a micro-services based architectural style for a cloud-based application. I finished reading Sam Newman's - Building Micro-services and now reading up Domain Driven Design and API Security. Things that keep me up at night: Modularity, Testability, Scalability, Security, Interoperability. Our team focusses on designing and developing loosely coupled, highly cohesive micro-services using the best tool for the job, which very often involve No-SQL persistence solutions. In my previous roles I have contributed to FDA Class medical device software and actively performed Verification and Validation Testing according to FDA guidelines.
