About Gauri Saxena

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychological Consultant based in Southern California. I'm currently practicing as a psychologist at Harbor Psychiatry & Mental Health - In addition to providing therapy to our patients, I'm excited to be partnering with our psychiatric specialists to build a maternal health program at Harbor. Maternal health has long been a passion of mine, which took on an extra personal layer after having my daughter in 2021. Alongside my work at Harbor, I'm building innovative solutions for comprehensive, preventive maternal health care. As a consultant, I help organizations maximize the impact of wellbeing initiatives and provide science-backed expertise. A niche specialty is developing tailored services for teams dealing with sensitive content. This includes tech Trust & Safety teams, intelligence analysts, security personnel, frontline journalists, and others. Clients include YouTube, Google, Clubhouse, NBC San Diego, USC Lear Center, and Institute for the Study of War. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about expanding the reach of psychology and health promotion / disease prevention utilizing innovative methods. Previous experiences have included leadership positions in university mental health and consulting roles in national and international organizations.
