About Gauri Shankar

I am an Australian PR and have spent 14 years figuring out how to get large, messy technology programs across the finish line, the ones with too many stakeholders, shifting requirements, and timelines that everyone agrees are aggressive but nobody wants to change. Most of my career has been in telecom and technology, delivering transformation programs in the $1M–$20M range for clients like Telstra, Sky-NZ, Reckitt, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Alibaba. The Amazon program was probably the most complex, 200+ people, 12 parallel workstreams, and the kind of interdependencies that keep you up at night if you don't stay on top of them. These days, I'm particularly interested in how AI changes the way we run programs. I've been using AI tools for estimation, risk assessment, and test automation, and the impact on delivery speed and accuracy is real. I've worked across India, Australia, and the broader APAC region, so I'm comfortable operating across cultures and time zones. I have an MBA from XLRI, PRINCE2 Practitioner and SAFe 6.0 Agilist certifications, and I'm based in Sydney. If you're dealing with a program that's gone sideways, or building something new and complex, happy to chat.
