About Gauri Sharma

Since childhood, I have been involved in varied activities such as dancing, sports and volunteering for social welfare projects. This has impacted my personality and moulded it for the professional life that lies in front of me. When I was in the 8th grade, I was identified by my school teachers as a leader who can take over responsibilities for which I was honoured with the position of Vice Captain followed by Captain in the 9th and 10th grades. It was unexpected and a wonderful experience because it helped me gain skills such as Mentoring, Team work, Team management and being a problem solver at a very young age. Similarly at my previous job in Byju's, I joined as a Sales and Marketing Intern. It was my first time in the marketing field and I was determined to put my best foot forward to prove to myself that I can do wonders. A few months down the line I was promoted to Team Lead Marketing and it was a life changing moment to receive a promotion in a short span of time. Skills that I have gained over the period of last few years - Time management, Organization skills, Communication skills, Ability to Hire/Train and be a motivator, Negotiation and Persuasion, Avid learner, Leadership qualities and Go getter attitude. Achievements - 1. One of the top performing interns at Byjus for which I was given monetary incentive. 60 hours Volunteering program at Teach for India 3. Best General Body Member at Aiesec in South Mumbai (Internship at a Non profit organization) 4. Black Belt in Taekwondo and a National level Silver Medalist 5.
