I started my flying training in 1981 in delhi flying club,patiala flying club & karnal flying club,India on PUSHPAK MK-1 trainer aircraft.completed my CPL in 1982. Joined Vayudoot Airline in 1984 flying the DO -228 as Capt. In 1991 was transferred to Air India where I flew till April 2020.I flew A310/B747-200/B747-300/B747-400 On A310 I was a check pilot On B747-400 I was the chief pilot/Designated Examiner(DE)/Type Rated Instructor(TRI) ELP Examiner (Till 2018) On B747-400 I was incharge of VVIP operations as well as Executive Commander for Air India-1 flying the President/Prime Minister/Vice President of India. I have honour of Flying 3 Prime Minister, 3 Presidents & 2 Vice Presidents of India. I have flown 100 VVIP flights involving 300 take off & landings world wide. During tenure with Air India I have flown to 98 countries & 159 cities world wide.
