I am a solicitor specialising in public and administrative law and dispute resolution. I assist public sector clients, particularly further and higher education institutions, across a wide range of contentious issues including internal governance and decision making, equality and diversity duties, data protection and information law and, where necessary, commercial litigation and judicial review. I have previously worked as a lawyer in both the public and private sectors and in-house in both local government and private business. This means that I understand the importance of creating strong client relationships based on trust and transparency. I am also aware of the need to provide clear and concise advice that offers practical solutions to the problems presented.
