About Gavin Daniel

A Goal driven person,enjoy working with people,passionate about education. About I am an educator with 30 years of experience in various levels of education, subjects taught and leadership roles. Education is my passion. I am passionate about people and get great joy in helping and being an integral part of students journeys through school and thereafter. I have experience in working with children of various disabilities such as Physical disabilities, Muscular dystrophy, Autism spectrum, Cerebral palsy, ADHD, Dyslexia and processing difficulties. I have also coached disability golf, wheelchair basketball, football and athletics. I have taught high school English, Art, junior high school Science, Health and Drama. I am currently a Middle school specialist Science teacher. I have been head of department, curriculum co-coordinator and trainer in the past. I initiated an international schools exchange program in and served as International Coordinator, planning,organizing and implementing international exchange programs. I am currently serving as a Middle school dean and am involved in the welfare and well being of over 400 students. I have lead missions trips overseas, taking students to countries where they had the opportunity to serve others less fortunate than themselves. I am very flexible and an eager learner, wanting to develop my skills and better my practice.
