About Gavin Ferguson

I have been a PA-C for five years, working entirely within out-patient psychiatric and addiction medicine services. Serving several rural community mental health clinics in Northern Arizona, I see General Mental Health Patients, patients with Serious Mental Illness designations, and those w Substance Use Disorders. I am well versed in addressing medication needs from the basic, to the complex, including dual diagnoses, and am comfortable with high risk patients needing methadone or suboxone services, in addition to their other mental health care needs. I work very well in a collaborative care setting, coordinating care with clinicians, care coordinators, probation officers, public fiduciaries and guardians, as well as other providers from Primary Care and Specialities. I complete routine medication monitoring appointments, psychiatric evaluations, and H & Ps for treatment facilities and intake appointments for MAT services. I've am involved w community partners from local government agencies, State agencies, and numerous non-profits to bring the best possible care to the patients I serve.
