About Gavin Graham

Howdy, I’m currently a senior at Texas A&M studying honors chemical engineering with plans on graduating in May 2026. I will be the first person in department history to graduate in 3 years. I have R&D experience with the Green lab as a materials researcher and with Houston Methodist as a molecular biology researcher. Both of these roles have been pivotal in shaping my problem-solving and ideation skills, and gave me practice quickly learning subjects I was previously unfamiliar with. My experience this last summer with UOP has broadened my perspective on the energy industry and has been a great learning experience seeing how UOP, being the world's largest process licensing organization, interacts with and benefits refineries all over the world. I am a very motivated person who acts intentionally. As such, I view every experience as a learning opportunity, both in and out of work. I identify strongly with the lifelong learner mindset — your ceiling is only as high as you make it. For more background on me personally, I enjoy staying fit through sports such as tennis, basketball, and lifting. I’ve played electric and acoustic guitar for 10 years, and recently joined a college band as lead guitar. Lastly, being an eagle scout, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors through camping and hiking whenever I can.
