As well as presiding over day to day management functions, such as the implementation of critical health and safety procedures throughout all construction sites, I love transcending the prescribed managerial role to spearhead major MEP construction projects that enhance efficiencies and reduce costs. This versatility allows for the expression of creativity within my leadership mandate while inspiring others in the quest to deliver strong bottom line value to a company’s business model. I thrive in environments that demand the application of a multi-disciplinary approach, from Supervising 200 construction workers, 8 managers, 7 design engineers and 20 draughtsmen in the MEP installation of the staff access facility on the new Doha international airport to delivering tenders for projects valued at between 10 to 450 million dollars throughout Europe, USA and the Middle East. This robust disposition towards a professional development is wrought from flourishing in the construction industry for over a decade. In my current role as an MEP Construction Manager for Sepam, I am spearheading the project to fit out the VIP lounges for the new Doha international airport, monitoring the quality of the MEP installation. Critical to this project’s success is my supervision of a team of over 300 workers across two shifts, the preparation of recovery schedules and enhancement of productivity levels. This initiative has resulted in a major impact on the company’s bottom line. I boast a formidable track record of leading diverse teams in the successful completion of complex and demanding initiatives on two continents.
