About Gavin Scheer

As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it’s important to invest my time to understand what you’re working toward before you invest your money. I will work closely with you to help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family. My primary goal is to help individual investors develop an investment strategy geared toward their unique, long-term goals, whether you need to save for a child’s college education, reduce taxes or prepare for the unexpected. I can also help with your retirement savings strategy so you have more options when you retire, regardless of what you decide to do. Preparing for retirement is like a cross-country journey. While it may seem like a long distance to cover, it starts with the first step of determining where you are today and where you want to be. I can help. Prior to becoming a financial advisor with Edward Jones, I worked in the aerospace industry for six years and at Koch Industries for three. My experience within these industries provided me with a valuable background in financial and business management. I grew up in the small town of Colwich, KS, which is just west of my branch location here in Maize. I attended Wichita State University graduating with my degree is business administration. My son, Wyatt, is seven years old. We enjoy spending time with our family, going to the lake and playing sports. I coach Wyatt's baseball team in the summer and a Junior High football team in the fall. We believe in providing highly personalized service to our community and our clients.
