About Gavin Schellenberg

In every aspect of my life, I strive for excellence. Whether it be in the workplace, the classroom, on the soccer field, or around the kitchen table, I cultivate excellence. Growing up I played premier soccer which taught me valuable lessons in how to manage conflict, take ownership of my mistakes, and embrace the feelings of both winning and losing. The lessons learned through sports stick with me today and have been instrumental in shaping who I am. My journey in academia has been defined and redefined many times over. I amassed a wealth of knowledge stemming from a diverse range of fields including Economics, Sociology, Law & Society, and ultimately culminating with my graduation paper reading that I possess a BA in Political Science. Following undergraduate studies, I spent a year cultivating my professional identity. I worked full-time and got the opportunity to dip my toes into the water, exploring concepts like scheduling, budget planning, and conducting branch reconciliations while working in the retail industry. The more I learned, the more I craved a formal education that could catapult my career firmly into the business sector. As of November 2023, I will have completed a Master of Management Degree from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Concurrent with the latter stages of my degree, I have begun my professional career at Cintas, working in their First Aid and Safety Division.
