About Gavin Wade

I am an adaptable, enthusiastic and passionate individual with experience in providing professional care to young people, the elderly and people effected by social issues such as homelessness and substance abuse. I have a proven ability to deal with physically and emotionally demanding service users and service users with challenging behaviours. I am a good active, empathetic listener and communicator and I understand the importance of confidentiality. I am great at taking direction and taking on board feedback. I can work as part of a team or on my own initiative and I feel I have relevant life experience which allows me to actively communicate and empathise with service users. I have an excellent understanding of relevant social care related legislations and policies. I am trained and certified in First Aid, Children’s First and Patient Manual Handling.
