About Gaya Savyon

I specialize in building development programs that define clear, achievable milestones tailored to a company’s internal capabilities and aligned with its strategic goals. This includes identifying and integrating the right external collaborations, leveraging available resources, and ensuring that the R&D roadmap directly supports the company’s business growth. This is the core of what I do at Zeev Savion Ltd, where I offer outsourced technological leadership for startups and companies in the life sciences, AgriTech, FoodTech, and alternative protein sectors. Over the past decade, I’ve led and managed complex multidisciplinary R&D programs in collaboration with leading academic institutions and industry partners. These include my role as Technological Manager of the Cultivated Meat Consortium, as well as development programs in recombinant growth factors, plant-based alternative proteins, smart agricultural materials, and environmental technologies at the interface of biology and materials science. I am currently completing my PhD in Life Sciences at Tel Aviv University. My research led to patented technologies that laid the scientific foundation for Forsea Foods, a cultivated seafood startup.
