Greetings, I am CA Gayatri Sovani, having recently completed my Master of Business Administration in Finance from Jindal Global Business School with a CGPA of 6.521 out of 8. I hold an LL.B. degree from Mumbai University (New Law College, Mahim), which I completed in 2022. During my CA articleship at a mid-size firm, I acquired extensive experience in diverse regulatory compliances including FCRA, RBI guidelines, RERA, GST, Company Law, Income Tax, and International Taxation. My responsibilities included preparing tax returns for High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), assisting in audits of companies with turnovers exceeding 200 Crores, and managing filings such as Income Tax, TDS, Service Tax, and GST returns. I am proficient in drafting responses to notices, as well as preparing resolutions and contracts for clients. Additionally, I have led audit teams, honing valuable management skills through mentoring junior colleagues. During my tenure at Achyutam Project Solutions Private Limited, I managed comprehensive GST compliance, oversaw Income Tax filing, and finalized the company's books of accounts. Additionally, I have extensive experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts. My professional interests extend to the stock market, where I am currently undergoing training in equity and derivatives trading, including futures and options. Furthermore, I have achieved proficiency up to levels A1 and A2 in the German language and have received training for level B1. Outside of my professional pursuits, I am a dedicated Bharatnatyam dancer, having completed eight years of training and earned the Visharad certification in 2013.
