About Gayle Ollington

With over 18 years of experience in event and program management, I am an expert in producing and curating engaging and impactful events for diverse audiences and purposes. From lectures and seminars to festivals and conferences, I have successfully delivered hundreds of events in both live and virtual settings, managing all aspects of budget, sponsor, and volunteer coordination. Most recently, I worked as the Jupyter Community Events Manager at NumFOCUS, a nonprofit organization that supports open-source scientific computing projects. There, I led the planning and execution of community events for the Jupyter project, a popular platform for interactive data analysis and visualization. I also spearheaded the curation of JupyterCon 2023, the largest annual conference for Jupyter users and developers, featuring speakers and attendees from around the world. I am passionate about creating memorable and meaningful experiences that connect and inspire people through the power of events. I am looking for a new opportunity to join a dynamic, culture-driven team that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
