Background
About Gemma Acworth
A strategic communications, external relations, and business strategy leader with 20 years of experience shaping high-impact narratives, strengthening reputation, and driving organizational performance across sectors and multiple geographic regions. My background spans communications, marketing, research, and strategy - leading integrated programs, corporate rebrands, digital transformations, stakeholder relations, and executive communications. I spent more than a decade at BCG in a senior-level strategy and operations role, supporting global practice leadership and managing complex cross-regional initiatives.I’ve advised CEOs, boards, and executive teams; shaped external narratives across business, government, and community audiences; and built “small but mighty” teams that deliver measurable impact. Whether navigating complex issues, building coalitions, or translating technical content into accessible storytelling, I’m driven by clarity, alignment, and strategic outcomes.Communications & External Relations | Strategy & Research | Reputation & Issues Management | Government & Stakeholder Relations | Digital & Brand Leadership | Executive Advisory
