I’m a dedicated nurse with a strong background in patient care and clinical research. I’m starting a new trip towards expanding expertise in clinical trials and medical affairs through a Master of Science degree that equips me with the essential skills and knowledge in pharmaceutical development. In my internship as a global clinical operations manager at Almirall, I focus on overseeing the planning, execution, and management of clinical trials across multiple countries. I have helped in the design of study protocols and ensured compliance with regulatory guidelines in different regions. Monitoring and data collection are key parts of my role and ensure it complies with good clinical practices. Collaboration is essential, so I work closely to CRO’s to keep everything running smoothly. Communication is a big part of what I do; I provide regular updates on study progress and address any issues that arise. Overall, this experience allows me to develop strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a diverse range of professionals.
