About Gemma Fuster
One of the current objectives of our group and the main aim of my work is to elucidate major changes at genetic and epigenetic levels that control the onset of intra-tumoral heterogeneity in breast cancer, focusing on microenvironment effects. These studies could lead to a better understanding of breast cancer development and to improvements for methodology in breast cancer detection, prevention and treatment.
