Family Law Barrister, Recorder (part-time judge of circuit judge level) and Special AdvocateI am specialist Children and Court of Protection practitioner and my work spans the whole spectrum of public, private, international and Surrogacy/Parentage proceedings, including those featuring an international element, surrogacy and parentage. I am frequently instructed in complex cases up to Court of Appeal level. I accept direct access instructions. In public law matters, I have a particular interest in cases involving ‘heavy’ medical evidence, such as non-accidental injuries, death of a parent or child, FII and poisoning and sexual abuse. In the private law sphere, I specialise in high-net worth individuals involved in exceptionally high-conflict disputes. My international work has recently developed a focus on recognition of foreign adoptions; and an emerging interest in abduction and Children cases originating in the UAE. I also thorough enjoy sitting as a Recorder.
