TV network-optioned writer with three TV pilots and five Features, including MOWs available- all award-winners. Author of a book about film adaptation, Angela's Decision: A Journey of Adaptation. Writing adaptations is a specialty, with Rosa and The Black Tulip adapted from Dumas' The Black Tulip, winning multiple awards and my BBC-awarded radio drama script adapted to a feature and TV pilot. Plus, two books in progress and a screenplay, set in Mississippi, Hawaii, Chicago and West Virginia. Experience in pre-production and production work, from location scouting to post production promotion. A background actor on Chicago and Nashville sets. Also an army veteran. A daughter of Appalachia where storytelling is as old as the hills and a city dweller now where stories form on concrete foundations and leap tall buildings. An alum of Marshall University with an MLS in screenwriting from the University of Oklahoma. Also available for workshops on writing, adaptation, film and tea, plus personal growth topics, to include veteran and womens. Level 2 certified, studying to be a Tea Specialist with the Specialty Tea Institute in New York City.
