Created an inventory system for an expanding lab after researching and choosing a suitable inventory and lab management software system. Maintain relationships with vendors and procure all materials needed for and expanding laboratory. Manage the chain of custody of regulated bioanalytical samples and critical reagents from receipt through shipment/disposal Maintain sample integrity by ensuring that all samples are managed (i.e, stored; handled; shipped) in compliance with procedures, specifications, and cGMP Collaborate with study personnel to coordinate sample and reagent shipments, resolve sample discrepancies, and handle logistics of international import/exports. Prepare biological samples for shipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLP) for archiving materials and Federal Shipping Regulations as they apply to FedEx and UPS services, or courier for domestic and international shipments. Partner with our company's staff to develop & drive process changes that innovate & improve the overall sample workflow. Represent the laboratory on all aspects of sample management during audits Operate within the confines of departmental SOPs and regulatory guidance
