About Gene Bernier

My passion is helping businesses achieve their strategic goals by leveraging my expertise, experience and broad business background. I have led numerous enterprise transformational programs including ERP installations, acquisitions, divestitures, organizational redesigns and spin-offs. I designed and implemented a Program Management Office for a major CPG company that included transforming a stodgy, ineffective IT portfolio management process into one focused on speed of execution. I am not only adept at strategy development; I have a proven track record of delivering results. Throughout my career, I have been tasked with leading challenging, high-risk initiatives that required inspirational leadership, effective planning and sound business acumen. As a consultant, I lean on my more than 30 years of experience in finance, IT, operations and program management to provide insightful guidance and support to my clients. I overcome barriers to success by formulating effective change management strategies that ensure delivery of expected outcomes and I deploy effective risk mitigation strategies to avoid missteps and unplanned disruptions. I easily transition from supporting Fortune 100 corporate initiatives to assisting startups and everything in between. I’m equally comfortable working with large, global enterprises or small non-profits. This experience enables me to design and scale solutions according to the organization’s ability and capacity to absorb change. I have a proven track record of taking over failing or struggling projects in need seasoned leadership. My calling card is an ability to quickly identify gaps in performance, develop action plans and effectively deploy resources to deliver desired and expected results.
