Over twenty-five years experience in government, post-secondary education and nonprofit management and economic development • Solid, broad-based education, including a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Anthropology, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as Institute for Organization Management (IOM) certification from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s IOM Program and continuing education with the International Economic Development Council • Recognized leadership abilities, including service as a Board Regent on the U.S. Chamber’s IOM Program at its Southeast Site, President of the Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives (WCCE), founding Board Member of the Sauk County Instiute for Leadership (SCIL), and Board Member of the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin Specialties: • Excellent personal communications skills • Sound and proven non-profit fiscal management ability • Strong writing skills – author of a number of articles in professional industry publications • Very good verbal communication skills, including experience in radio and television broadcasting • Proven managerial experience, including demonstrated ability to adapt to and thrive in changing situations
