I founded Green Mt Monogram now Green Mountain Merchandise in the early 80’s after purchasing an embroidery machine from a failing local sporting goods company. In the early years, we supplied local businesses with Screen Printed and Embroidered Apparel, as well as uniforms for local Schools and Teams. Some of those original customers still make up a portion of my core business today. As the company continued to grow, I discovered a niche market and joined my first love,(Muscle Cars and Drag Racing), with my T-shirt Company. Originally, we would print one shirt at a time, on location at Car Shows, but realized the market placed demanded a much higher volume operation. With the addition of a larger location, automated printing equipment, in house artist, our production volume increased to keep up with the growing demand. We secured Exclusive Merchandise Programs from National Car Show Promoters, Official Licensing Agreements from General Motors and Dodge. We purchased Trucks, Trailers, Tents and equipment allowing us to build “on site” stores at our growing list of Car Shows. If you are a car enthusiast there is a very good chance you have one of our T-shirts in your closet. A few of our past and present clients include Carlisle Events, Detroit Autorama, Super Chevy Show Series, Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour, Car Craft Summer Nationals, 4 Wheel Jamborees, Street Machine Nationals, Hot August Nights, Syracuse Nationals and several others. With the help of a dedicated staff of nearly 25 employees, and almost 4 decades in the business we have grown to become one of largest, Automotive Merchandising Companies in the Country. I have launched several “spin off” companies to include a private label clothing line, known as Johny Rockstar. Having the opportunity to be able to bring my car hobby together with my business has made for a very fulfilling career. We have hundreds of customers nationwide, not just automotive related, but B2B is our specialty.
