He has two boys (one at home now), a dog, and three cats. Outside of the office, Gene enjoys golfing and traveling. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Springfield from 2011–2018, specifically as Treasurer from 2014–2016. He’s proud to help educate people on Habitat’s mission and helping members of the community with affordable housing. He served as Treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 210 and has served as a volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 239.
