About Genesis Cedeno

I'm a senior at Brandeis University, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience and Psychology. My leadership roles on campus include serving as an Advisory Board Member for the Gen One Network, where I support first-generation college students, and as a Tutor/Mentor for Upward Bound, where I help high school students achieve their academic goals. Additionally, I am the Secretary (formerly Treasurer) for the Students of the Caribbean Association and actively contribute to volunteer for the Student Sexuality Information Services (SSIS). Driven by a passion for research and equity, I aim to explore how these fields intersect and contribute to the advancement of racial and gender equity in STEM. I’m excited to connect with professionals and organizations that share my commitment to equity and research, and I am open to opportunities that will allow me to further explore these interests.
