About Genesis Collins

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Security Specialist at Unifi! I have skills in customer service as well as bilingual interpretation. I have worked in different fields including healthcare, restaurant owner, hospitality, veteran affairs, etc. While working in the medical field in OBGYN, I volunteered at the children’s hospital in Atlanta, Ga. I also worked for the WIC office in the medical building of Southside Medical center. Later, I decided to try customer service in a call center where we took pride in assisting home improvement customers and servicing their loans. During my time here, I have now switched over to our merchant’s side in which I service their accounts and customers’ accounts. I currently hold two positions. I maintain clients' accounts and process requests during the day and provide security services at night. I am currently attending American Public University. I am studying to become a psychologist. My goal is to become a childhood therapist and perform a research study on childhood trauma and its effects on mental health. I am hoping to complete my internship at a facility that specializes in children and adolescent mental health. My goal is to provide guidance to Adolescents and children to promote a healthier life. I am scheduled to graduate in the year 2027. I will be working towards my master’s degree right after completing my clinicals to then owning my own center for children and adolescents. I plan on having different center for children and adolescents all across the world.
