About Genet Asgedom

I am passionate and self-starter development professional with decadelong experience of development and implementation of integrated monitoring and evaluation systems. I supported programs with a demonstrated experience of program management operations, Program Designs, Result Framework Developments, Result Based Monitoring approaches, Planning, Data Collection and Analysis, Reporting and Documentation. I have strong qualitative and quantitative research design and data analysis skills and specific experience in the application of innovative approaches to data collection and writing evaluation reports. Also, I have been part of various program assessments and evaluations to inform strategic learning and scaling up impacts. I contributed to organization capacity through providing recurring trainings for more than 500 community facilitators. I have taken part in various Baselines, Midterm, End line evaluations in diverse sectors including Agriculture and Food Security, Rural livelihoods, Education, Youth workforce and Women empowerment, Community and Social Development and Business Development services. I have worked for Programs funded by The World Bank, Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands, Canadian International Development Agency and Government of Canada. I hold a master’s degree in Regional and Local Development Studies and a Bachelor's degree (honors) in Economics from Addis Ababa University. I had the privilege of getting International courses, on job trainings and working with prominent experts and international consultants. Over the course of my career, I have collaborated with multiple stakeholders at all levels of organizational structures and Key Government organizations.
