Throughout my work experiences I am looking forward to working with children in a clinical or school setting as a mental health counselor. Eventually I would like to further my education and attend grad school to get a licenses in Mental Health Counseling. I recently worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Umass Chan Medical School in the Psychiatry department under a principal investigator assisting on a research project, “PASS 2.0” whose goal is to identify how to assist college student with mental health conditions achieve academic success.I conducted interviews with perspective study individuals to verify eligibility for the study and to ensure the participants have a full understanding of the study. While communicating daily with the students in the study, I also communicated with the principal investigator, updating her on daily tasks that have been completed. I worked daily in REDcap updating trackers and sending out monthly surveys. I am looking forward to developing more experience in the research field pertaining to psychological disorders. I also spent many years as an in-home Family Nanny for two private families. Where I managed an active calendar of appointments including school, different play group classes and appointments. I would provide transportation for the 3-year-old too and from preschool and took them on educational and age-appropriate outings. I communicated daily with the parents and kept records of the children’s activities, behaviors, food ate and use of bathroom. I also worked as a Preschool teacher and assistant toddler and infant teacher for almost two years at a daycare Hugs Plus Learning Center. Where provided care to over 25 children ages 3 months to 4 years in age alongside other childcare specialists. I would create daily activity reports on Brightwheel, regarding daily observations, information about activities and meals served. Also developed age-appropriate lesson plans and worked with the children to help them develop their social and emotional skills and work on their fine and large motor skills.I am knowledgeable in social media and worked on running all social media accounts for my families family run business Locos located in Braintree.
