I am a Journeyman Telecommunications Lineman who was very lucky to receive my training from the Canadian Forces. Our training had to include all facets of Telecom from bare ground to fiber to the desktop as we never knew which environment we would deploy. Specifically, we were trained in Design, Pole Line and UG construction, Splicing/Termination (Copper,Fiber and Coax), CO Construction, Structured Wiring and Antenna Construction and Maintenance. Throughout my career, I have used my technical knowledge and leadership training to place me in several Managerial Positions, which included (Field Service Manager, Training Manager, QA Manager). I am very detail orientated and believe in the theory of "Never pass a fault". I have been very successful at this while still maintaining a strong understanding of cost and scheduling effects on business.
