About Geoff Gerling

A Kansas City, MO native, I have spent my career in the non-profit sector specializing in political/government affairs, management of non-profit development and public relations. Specifically, I have worked with groups ranging from collegiate fraternities and sororities to pro-bono legal aid firms to develop and implement fundraising plans that will sustain and grow the organization in addition to policy and political advocacy at the local, state and federal levels. I have helped groups show significant growth in individual donations, grants awarded, and enhanced visibility in the community. I have a more than 15 years of experience working with small to mid-sized mission-based organizations, each with unique assets and obstacles. Building personal relationships with volunteers, potential donors and policy makers have been the biggest keys to my success. One size rarely fits all but selling a good mission is always and honest and stable investment Efficiency and innovation are critical in my long-term strategies.
