Background
About Geoffrey Singer
With a diverse range of experience in the areas of community planning, policy and development, and growth management, I specialize in collecting and analyzing data to measure the performance and sustainability of land use plans. I've played a variety of roles in implementing a number of signature smart growth plans in the Toronto, Canada region including the secondary plan for Markham's Cornell community, the first Official Plan for the amalgamated City of Toronto, and the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Currently, I am working to develop a growth management strategy as part of the implementation of Brampton Plan, the City of Brampton's new award-winning Official Plan, to achieve a sustainable, urban, and vibrant future for the city.
