Strategic sourcing and developing of long term supplier relations to ensure the best supply and pricing objectives are met. Controlling the full purchasing function, sourcing, evaluation and adjudication of bids, as well as processing of orders on SAP. Continually evaluate current suppliers and source alternative suppliers to determine best quality and pricing. Ongoing collaboration with internal stakeholders to improve our service. Quarterly evaluation of suppliers and maintain healthy relationships. Verify that monthly savings targets are met. Communicate weekly reports on status and progress of orders and delivery updates. Ensure that the Procure to Pay process is followed according to company requirements. Extensive experience in international buying and sourcing. Establish Service Level Agreements with long term strategic suppliers. Expediting the delivery of orders and payments Logistics: Verify that all inspection, customs and internal documentation for export and import purposes is accurate.(Cross Border & International Documentation) Co-ordinate the delivery & logistical process of goods bought on the International market. Co-ordinate the logistics process of goods bought in SA and track the delivery to DRC. Selection of logistical service providers per mode of transport – Air, Road and Sea. Manage the outbound shipments from the warehouse and inbound deliveries to the onsite stores. Monitor and Control outbound and inbound logistics. Good understanding of INCOTERMS and chemical export requirements.
