A reputable and multiple award-winning offline and online editor with an outstanding record of achievements in production and post-production editorial, finishing, post workflow, and project management in film, TV, webcasts and live broadcasts; I possess the experience, technical savvy, creative versatility and unique skills-set for maximizing the post production process within the competitive broadcasting and entertainment industries! This is no mean accomplishment as I have worked in post-production over a span of 30 years. My specialties include offline video editorial (Avid, Resolve & Premiere Pro), online/color correction/finishing (Avid Symphony, DaVinci Resolve & Autodesk Smoke), compositing and motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) & Audio (ProTools & Fairlight). For my efforts, I have won 14 Telly Awards during my career, including being a featured editor for the well-received Avid Technology Spotlight Video Series; serving as a panelist at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival and acting as a guest instructor at UCLA’s Cinema and Media Studies Program My success in optimizing post production workflows can be attributed to an accurate and comprehensive assessment of each challenge, then leveraging cutting-edge technologies and experience to meet the required goals. Throughout my career I have managed numerous teams across a variety of projects ranging long form to live broadcast. As a small studio owner I staffed my company appropriately to handle current workloads, created and managed budgets, timelines and schedules and dealt with all client communication and project management. I am currently employed as an online editor, colorist and audio mixer at Open Road in Burbank, CA where I online, color and mix theatrical trailers and broadcast TV spots.
