About George Caputa
After completing my PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, I completed my postdoc at the Max Planck for Immunology and Epigenetics. In 2019, I joined the editorial team at Nature Metabolism. In 2021, I joined the team at Nature handling molecular, mitochondrial, cellular & organismal metabolism, and cardiology, and vascular biology, and in advances in clinical AI. My research interests lie in the role of systemic, cellular, and molecular metabolism in regulating cell function and fate.
