About George Conlon

I am a hard-working, responsible and professional young man who always seeks opportunities to learn, grow and gain experience in all different personal and professional environments. I live my life in service and love volunteering my time at The yLead Association who's vision is to empower the youth of today to bring out the best in everyone we meet. I was lucky enough through my years of service to be awarded their Queensland Volunteer of the Year in 2019 and the Overall (Australia & New Zealand) Volunteer of the Year in 2020. From my extensive and varied work experience I have learnt many transferable business knowledge skills through scenarios that play out during shifts, processes that differ between companies, various methods of management and styles of educating and sharing messages with many types of demographics. One of my biggest passions is the sporting industry, especially football and basketball, and in the future I would love to combine my skills in marketing and love for sports to work as a marketing manager in the future. However, my overall goal in life is to empower the people around me to be the best versions of themselves through my everyday actions as a leader.
