Background

About George Deleon

I am a capable individual, that can learn quickly and adjust myself to best meet the preferred outcome to tasks assigned. I believe to be very resourceful and strive to be the best at whatever I do. To tell you a little about myself; I am first generation, from Guatemalan decent, my father migrated here in his twenties and my mother came when she was nine. They have always been hard workers and I have tried to implement that work ethic in my day-to-day life. I have been drawn to politics because of history and the election of 2016. I have always liked to learn of past lives and their experiences because, we can continue to relate and improve. In regards to the 2016 election, I found myself in high school and in awe to see how politicians could have an enormous effect on students and their attitudes to one another. For this reason, I look at politics as a tool to better lives and create a sense of unity instead of a divide. I believe that the best way to better others through politics is by placing a level of mutual respect and continuing to work together to help strength democracy.
