My main focus is the treatment of acute or chronic pain affecting the head, face and neck with techniques that predominately promote and facilitate the body's own capacity for natural healing. This is, therefore, a mechanism based approach that attempts to reverse the underlying physiologic conditions that have been altered and remain active in an individual patient's pain condition. The goal of treatment, then, is a return to homeostasis for the individual patient. Most individuals can heal if the treatment is one which promotes healing rather than facilitating the continuation of the disorder. Unfortunately, an inaccurate diagnosis can complicate matters.
