In addition to my previous role as a line judge, I was elected nationwide as Treasurer for the union which represents 1600 judges in the Social Security Administration. Previously, I was Regional Vice-President in the Atlanta region representing all judges in 17 hearing offices. I was also a member of the collective bargaining team responsible for negotiating the CBA between SSA and AALJ. I have over 20 years of judicial experience and was in management with SSA prior to becoming a judge. Twice selected to the Quality Assurance Review team to review the work of judges nationwide. I used my 37 years in disability law to represent clients and employers in all levels and aspects of disability law between my stints as line judge and senior judge.
